Manual Device Configuration

I-PHONE Configuration Instructions

1. Take device out of box
2. Place pre-provisioned SIM in device
3. Turn on device
4. If Requesting device configuration message is obtained select ok. (allow device to accept settings) note: manual configuration is still required
5. Settings -> General -> Network -> 3G/WCDMA
   Enter Access point name: Internet.btcbahamas.com
   Note if prepaid device, enter prepaid APNs

Android Devices (Samsung Galaxy SII, HTC Incredible S, Samsung Galaxy Mini, HTC Wildfire, HTC Desire, Samsung P1000, Samsung I9000, LG Optimus One P500, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung I5800)

1. Take device out of box
2. Place pre-provisioned SIM in device
3. Turn on device
4. Select Menu Key (key to the left of device)
5. Select Settings
6. Select Wireless and Networks
7. Select Mobile Network
   1. Ensure Use Packet Data is selected
8. Select Access Point Names
9. Select menu icon
10. Select new APN
11. Select APN
12. Select Name
    1. Enter: BTC
    2. Select :OK
13. Select back button (right of device)
14. Select APN (note: enter prepaid APNs if it is a prepaid device)
    1. Enter: internet.btcbahamas.com (note: everything else must be blank)
15. Select Menu Icon
    1. Select Save
16. Select back button
17. Verify network
    1. Select Setting
    2. Select Wireless and Network
    3. Select Mobile Network
    4. Select Network Mode
    5. Select 2G and WCDMA or WCDMA only
18. Select Google shortcut
19. Enter any item in the search box
20. Successful browsing should occur
21. Verify voice
    1. Dial test number
    2. Answer call and verify connection
       (Tested on Samsung Galaxy SII and HTC Incredible S)

Nokia Devices (Nokia 500, Nokia C2-01)

NOKIA 500

1. Take device out of box
2. Place pre-provisioned SIM in device
3. Turn on device
4. If Requesting device configuration message is obtained select ok.(allow device to accept settings) note: manual configuration is still required
5. Select Main Menu > Settings > Connectivity> Admin Settings > Packet Data >
   Enter the following information:
   1. Under Packet Data select: When needed
   2. Under Access point enter: internet.btcbahamas.com
   3. Under High Speed Packet Access: Select: Enable

2. Place pre-provisioned SIM in device
3. Turn on device
4. Select Menu
5. Select Settings
6. Select Connectivity
7. Select packet data settings
8. Select Edit Active Access pt.
9. Enter (ALIAS FOR ACCESS POINT) BTC
10. Packet Data Acc pt: internet.btcbahamas.com

11. Select Settings
12. Select Configurations SELECT CONFIGURATIONS
13. Select Personal Config. settings
14. Select Options
15. Select ADD NEW
16. ACCNT Name BTC
